OsGro Seed Services has been actively supplying seed to forestry companies and owners throughout NZ since 2013.
Over this time, we have designed a range of seed blend specifically for the New Zealand forestry industry.
There is a significant rise in public pressure to ensure correct environmental practices are followed, and ensuring issues such as erosion and sediment are not contributing negatively on New Zealand freshwater quality.
On 1 May 2018, the new National Environmental Standards for Plantation Forestry (NES-PF) took effect, which replaced the Regional Council plans. The NES, as its name suggests, is a National Standard for harvesting and roading operations and regulations are based on soil Erosion Susceptibility Classes (ESC) for the area in question.
